Who we are

Elimu+ (Elimu Plus Skills Hub) is a training organisation based in Mombasa, Kenya. We decide why and how the personal data in this notice is used. You can reach us at hello@elimuplus.com or on +254 798 639 546.

What we collect

• Forms on this site: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, where you live or work, your institution and its type, your business or business idea, and any message you write.
• WhatsApp: if you message us, we see your number and what you send.
• Visits: we use privacy-friendly analytics that count page views without cookies and without identifying you personally.

Why we use it

Only to reply to you, to contact your organisation about training, to prepare a quotation or to follow up on an enquiry. We do not sell your details and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Who sees it

Form submissions are received through Formspree, a service that passes them to our email. Formspree and our analytics provider process data outside Kenya, so your details may be stored in other countries. Our team members who answer enquiries can see them. If your organisation hosts a cohort, we may share participants' names and business details with the partner institution hosting the cohort.

How long we keep it

Enquiries we do not act on are deleted after 24 months. If you become a partner or your organisation hosts a cohort, we keep the records needed to run the programme and report on it.

Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at odpc.go.ke.

Children and young people

Our forms are for organisations and are not meant to be filled in by or for individual children. Youth programmes are arranged through a church, school or other organisation, which is responsible for obtaining the consent of parents or guardians. We ask for participants' details only after a cohort has been agreed with the organisation.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date above.
